Charity Golf Day
We were thrilled to be part of Harlow Council’s Golf Charity Day this year, an event filled with camaraderie, competition, and an inspiring cause! The Rapid Response Maintenance team had a wonderful time at the beautiful Canons Brook Golf Club, enjoying the stunning course while contributing to an event dedicated to raising funds for two fantastic charities: Harlow Steel Band and Rainbow Harlow Dementia Services—both chosen by Andrew Johnson, Chair of Harlow Council.
The day was more than just about golf—it was about making a real difference. We are proud to have sponsored one of the holes at the event, and even prouder to be supporting causes that play such a vital role in the community. Harlow Steel Band brings joy through their vibrant music, and Rainbow Harlow Dementia Services provides essential care and support for those affected by dementia. To know that the proceeds from the day will directly benefit these incredible organisations made the event even more meaningful.
The golf day itself was full of fun and excitement. The Rapid team gave it their all on the course, and we were delighted to walk away with a few awards—proof that hard work and a little healthy competition go hand in hand! Whether it was enjoying a few laughs with fellow golfers or celebrating our team’s wins, the entire day was an excellent reminder of the power of community events like these.
We owe a huge thank you to Emma Crouch for organising such a fantastic event and to Dan Swords for inviting us to be part of it. Their hard work behind the scenes made sure everything ran smoothly, and the atmosphere was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived to the final awards ceremony, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making the day a success.
A special shoutout goes to @thesignstation for providing our branding on the day. The signage looked fantastic and really helped us stand out on the course. It’s always great to work with partners who bring the same level of professionalism and quality to events as we strive for in our own work.
We also want to extend our thanks to @harlowcouncil for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful event. It was a privilege to support Andrew Johnson’s chosen charities and be part of a day that highlights the importance of community spirit and giving back.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event, and we hope to see many familiar faces returning for another day of friendly competition, fantastic scenery, and charitable giving. Until then, a big thank you to everyone involved—you made it a day to remember!
